The Ashdown Forest Summer Challenge is a trail running event on 19 July 2026 at Pippingford Park Manor, Nutley, Uckfield, TN22 3HW, organised by Running Hub. The event offers two distances:

  • 10 miles
  • 5 miles

Entry prices vary by category and time of booking. Published online prices range from £23 to £29. On-the-day entry fees may be higher and are listed as £35 for the 10 mile and £30 for the 5 mile. Age limits apply: entrants must be at least 17 years old for the 10 mile and at least 15 years old for the 5 mile. Winners receive Running Hub vouchers and all entrants may receive a bespoke medal, subject to availability. Free parking is provided.

The route uses hard-packed trails through Ashdown Forest and includes both significant climbs and downhill sections. The total elevation gain is stated as 1,568 ft. A scenic 7.5 km trail loop on the 1066 Country Walk with a pub finish at The Plough. Limited to 50 runners, this friendly, marshalled event includes post race tea and cake.
