ASC 5K Obstacle Course Race

ASC hosts a 5K obstacle course race at Lubber Run Community Center in Arlington, VA. The course covers a 5K distance with 1,158 feet of total elevation gain and consists of two loops through the Lubber Run Nature Trail. Competitors begin next to the outdoor pickleball courts and encounter a series of ASC-designed obstacles on each loop that aim to test strength, endurance, grit, and athleticism.

The event is free for ASC members; non-members may purchase tickets for $50. All fitness levels are welcome; participants may walk the course and may skip any obstacles. The course does not include mud, though part of the trail is a dirt path. Fuel and hydration are not provided, and attendees should plan accordingly.

Parking is available on the street or in an underground or covered garage. Pre-race check-in and a course overview with a guided warm-up are provided by ASC. Online registration is required as walk-ins are not accepted. No refunds are offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
