The Merrimack River 10M is a USATF sanctioned trail race held on April 11, 2026. The course is an out-and-back of 10 miles, starting from the back parking lot of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at 123 Old River Rd, Andover, MA. The race is part of the North Shore Trail Series. Portable bathroom facilities will be provided on site; participants are asked not to use the hotel’s facilities. All net proceeds will be donated to the Andover Village Improvement Society for Merrimack River Trail maintenance.
Logistics, entries and prizes
Pre-registration is available with an adult fee of $15 and a youth fee ($19 and under) of $10; online registrations incur a processing charge of 0.6% + $1. T-shirts are available for an additional $10 (about 40 shirts available). Race day entry is $30. Registration closes on April 8, 2026. There is no field limit and no refunds or deferrals.
Water stations are located at 2 and 8 miles (unmanned) and at 4 miles (manned). Post-race refreshments will include bagels, fruit, drinks and snacks, and a post-race raffle and awards presentation will follow. Awards include a $100 prize for new course records, baked goods and age-group awards in 10-year increments from under 20 to 80+, prizes for non-binary, female and male placings, a muddiest-runner award, and complimentary entry for certain club members and past winners.
