Merrimack River 10M Trail Race
This is a USATF sanctioned, 10-mile out-and-back trail race held on April 11, 2026, in Andover, Massachusetts. The course starts from the back parking lot of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, 123 Old River Rd, Andover, MA, and a course map is provided by the organizer. The event is part of the North Shore Trail Series and Minor Athlete Abuse Protection Policies (MAAPP) apply.
Portable bathroom facilities will be provided; participants are asked not to use the hotel’s facilities. Water stations are unmanned at 2 and 8 miles and manned at 4 miles. Post-race refreshments include bagels, fruit, drinks, and snacks, and a raffle and awards presentation follow the finish.
Entry details: online pre-registration fees list Adult $15.00 and Youth (19 and under) $10.00 with an additional processing fee of 0.65% + $1.25; pre-registration closed April 8, 2026. Race day entry is $30.00 by cash or electronic payment; there is no refund or deferral and no field limit. A t-shirt is available for an additional $10, with roughly 40 shirts available.
Awards and prizes include a monetary prize for new course records, homemade pies and cakes for overall and age-group winners, fresh-baked treats for place finishers, awards for most experienced runner, largest and fastest teams (teams must have three runners), and a muddiest-runner award.
