Run for Nature is a community event organized by the Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust at Shedd Park, 453 Rogers Street, Lowell, MA. The event includes multiple distance options and family activities that support the trust’s conservation and education programs.

The course combines double- and single-track trails through Shedd Park and Rogers Fort Hill Park, with a paved segment along the Concord River Greenway. Trails are connected by short sections of sidewalks and roads. The route will be marked with flags and signs and staffed at road crossings and major turns. The 10K course consists of the main loop completed twice; there is one staffed water stop that the 10K passes twice. Water and light snacks will be available at the finish area. Participants are encouraged to bring reusable bottles to reduce waste. The kids loop will be marked and staffed with adults at each turn. All finishers will receive a finishing prize.
The event is held rain or shine. There are no refunds or day of registration. The start and finish area is at the Shedd Park Pavilion, where on-site parking is available; additional parking is located along Knapp Avenue and at two lots accessed from Park Avenue East.
