This is the second annual Run for Nature organized by the Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust at Shedd Park, 453 Rogers Street, Lowell, MA. The event offers trail and community running options and includes family activities and educational displays.

- Kids 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk for ages 12 and under
The course mixes double- and single-track trails through Shedd Park and Rogers Fort Hill Park with a segment along the paved Concord River Greenway. The route has minimal sidewalks and roads connecting trails and will be marked with flags and signs and staffed at road crossings and major turns. Ten kilometer runners complete the loop twice. There is one water stop on course and water and light snacks at the finish line. The kids loop is a marked circuit with adults at each turn. Finishing prizes are provided for participants.
The event is rain or shine. There are no refunds and no day of registration. Bib pick up is available. The organizer states a commitment to accessibility regardless of ability to pay.
The start and finish are at Shedd Park Pavilion where a parking lot is available. Additional parking is located along Knapp Avenue and at two parking lots accessed from Park Avenue East.
