The Anniversary Run 15K takes place on Sunday, December 14, 2025. It is a 15K trail race that serves as the final event in the Championship Series commemorating the founding of the Annapolis Striders. The race was originally run at the Naval Academy at the end of December and is now held the second weekend of December on the trails of Quiet Waters Park. The start, finish and awards will be at the outdoor Sassafras Pavilion. Volunteers are needed.

Location, entry, support and awards

The event location is Quiet Waters Park, 600 Quiet Waters Park Road, Annapolis, MD 21043. Standard entry is listed as $15; the race is free for Annapolis Striders members who register before Friday, December 12, 2025. Participants already registered for the Championship Series do not need to register separately for this race. Medical support will be provided by the Anne Arundel - Annapolis CERT First Aid Support Team (FAST) with First Aid stations on site. Awards include male and female 1st and 2nd overall, 1st masters male and female, and male and female awards in each 10-year age group, to be determined according to the number of participants. A memorial trail event at Piney Run Park featuring a 5.25 mile loop used for 50K, 25K, a 5 miler and an 8 hour challenge. Aid stations and loop transition support are provided and finishers receive a hat or visor and a medal.

A trail ultramarathon in Gunpowder State Park with 25K and 50K options on a 15.5 mile loop. Staffed aid stations and a nine hour time limit support runners throughout the course.

Farm Park Challenge is a trail running event at the Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood, Maryland on May 2, 2026. Options include a marathon, a 25K, and timed three hour six hour and ten hour challenges run as five mile laps.
