Angry Cow Trail Run # 1 is scheduled for February 21, 2026 at Wagon Train Lake in Hickman, Nebraska. The start and finish are located at the old beach parking lot on the north side off the main park road (S110th). The marked course lies north of the beach parking area.

Rucking is included as an event option; participants who plan to ruck must register for the chosen distance online and check in 30 minutes prior to the regular run check in on race day. There will be a cutoff time for the longest distance and participants may use any ruck weight they choose. Snowshoes are permitted if there is adequate snow.

Registration closes February 6, 2026. Entry fees are listed per distance and include a zip tote bag, snacks, drinks, and awards. Park permits are required and are available through the park.
