The Angry Cow Trail Run #1 takes place on February 21, 2026, at Wagon Train Lake, Area 1 in Hickman, Nebraska. The start and finish are at the old beach parking lot on the north side off the main park road (S110th). This race is the first event in the Angry Cow Series for 2026. Snowshoes are allowed if there is adequate snow. Park permits are required and available in the park.

Registration closes February 6, 2026. Entry fees are: 3 mile $25, 6 mile $35, 12 mile $45, 40K $55. Fees include shirts, gloves, snacks, drinks, and awards. Rucking is added for 2026; participants who plan to ruck should register for their distance online and check in 30 minutes prior to the regular run check in on race day.
