Angela Ivory Memorial Runs at Killen's Pond State Park

This event is a looped trail running format held at Killen's Pond State Park near Felton, DE, scheduled for Feb 7, 2026. It offers multiple race options on a single loop course fully inside the park.

The primary loop is about 3.1 miles and is almost entirely dirt. Terrain includes some roots, rocks and occasional rubble with a low total climb per loop of around 80 feet. North sections are broad and sandy with organics, while the south side is narrower single track with some roots. The course includes a short loop around the parking area and an aluminum footbridge segment.

Facilities include a covered pavilion with an area for tents and heated restrooms in the parking area. Porta johns may or may not be present. Picnic tables and adjacent parking are available; parking is ample and free in winter months. The park has no garbage cans so participants must pack out trash.

Entry is limited to 40 participants per race option. The 50K is free. The 24 hour and 100 mile options are listed at $50 ($56.12 all in), with fees used to cover park charges and pavilion rental; any excess is donated to the park. There are no refunds, no waitlist and no transfers. The event is run in a Fat Ass style with no guaranteed aid, no shirts and no chip timing. The 50K requires self-marked laps; 24 hour and 100 mile entries have an official lap counter. The 100 mile finishers receive a buckle.

Weather is frequently cold and variable in late January and early February. The event runs rain or shine except if the park closes for snow. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
