The Tuckahoe 25k

The Tuckahoe 25k is a trail race in Queen Anne, Maryland on November 21, 2026, organized by Algonquin Ultras Inc. in partnership with the Centreville Crushers Running Club. The event is part of the Algonquin Ultras nonprofit family that works with Maryland Parks and Maryland Forests and is described as community driven, eco friendly, and volunteer supported.

The race distance is 25k (15.5 miles), with a note that these are trail miles and GPS readings may vary. The course is mostly single track with some wider horse trails. It is not described as overly technical or rocky but does include runnable hills and a few rooty, muddy sections. The event proceeds in a range of weather conditions; there is no rain date and cancellation would occur only if a force majeure prevents EMS, aid stations, or support staff from functioning.

There are three fully stocked aid stations offering water, electrolyte drinks, gels, and staffed by experienced volunteers. Real food options are provided, including both sweet and salty items. Awards are given to the top three men and the top three women, and all participants receive event swag.

Race policies include no bib transfers or bandits, visible bib numbers, no littering, staying on the established course, returning a bib if a runner drops out, no pacers or crews, no deferrals or refunds, no dogs for runners, and no early or late starts. Registration closes November 20, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
