The Tuckahoe 25k
The Tuckahoe 25k is a trail race held in Queen Anne, MD on November 21, 2026. The course covers 25K (15.5 miles) of mostly single-track and some wider horse trails; these are trail miles so GPS distances may vary. The route includes runnable hills and a few rooty, muddy sections and is not described as overly technical or rocky.
Three fully stocked aid stations provide water, electrolyte drinks, gels, and real food both sweet and salty. Volunteers staff the aid stations and support the event. The race proceeds in rain, snow, or sleet unless a force majeure event prevents EMS, aid stations, or support staff from functioning; if the event is canceled for that reason no refunds or credits will be given.
Awards are presented to the top three men and the top three women, and all participants receive event swag. The race is organized by Algonquin Ultras Inc. in partnership with the Centreville Crushers Running Club. Algonquin Ultras is described as a community driven, eco friendly, volunteer supported nonprofit that partners with Maryland Parks and Maryland Forests to support trails across Delmarva.
Registration closes Friday, November 20 at 11:59 PM ET. Additional event rules include no bib transfers, visible bib numbers at all times, no pacers or crews, no deferrals or refunds, no dogs for runners, and a requirement to stay on the established course.
