The Tuckahoe 25k

The Tuckahoe 25k is the 8th annual trail race held in Queen Anne, Maryland on Saturday, November 21, 2026. The advertised distance is 25k (15.5 miles); organizers note these are trail miles and GPS distance may vary. The course is composed mostly of single-track and some wider horse trails, with runnable hills and a few rooty or muddy sections.

Three fully stocked aid stations provide water, electrolyte drinks, gels, and volunteers. Additional food items are available at the aid stations. The event proceeds in rain, snow, or sleet; only a force majeure that prevents emergency medical services, aid stations, or support staff from functioning will lead to cancellation. If the race is canceled under those conditions, no refunds or credits will be issued.

Awards are given to the top three men and the top three women, and all participants receive event swag. The race is organized by Algonquin Ultras Inc. in partnership with local clubs and Maryland parks and forests. Key participant rules include no bib transfers or bandits, bib numbers must remain visible, no littering, staying on the established course, returning your bib if you drop out, no pacers or crews, no deferrals or refunds, and no dogs for runners.
