The Tuckahoe 25k
The Tuckahoe 25k is a trail race held in Queen Anne, Maryland on November 21, 2026. The distance is 25K (15.5 miles); the organizer is Algonquin Ultras Inc in partnership with the Centreville Crushers Running Club. The event is presented as part of Algonquin Ultras nonprofit race series that supports trail preservation across Delmarva and partners with Maryland Parks and Maryland Forests.
The course is mostly single-track with some wider horse trails. It is not described as highly technical or rocky, but it contains runnable hills and a few rooty, muddy sections. Participants should expect variable trail conditions and possible weather such as cold, rain, snow, or mud. The race proceeds regardless of rain, sleet, or snow unless a force majeure prevents EMS, aid stations, or support staff from functioning.
There are three fully stocked aid stations offering water, electrolyte drinks, gels, and volunteers. Real food is provided at the event with both sweet and salty options; churros are specifically mentioned. Awards are given to the top three men and the top three women. All participants receive event swag.
Event policies include no bib transfers, visible bib numbers at all times, no pacers or crews, no dogs for runners, no deferrals or refunds, no early or late starts, and a carry in carry out rule for litter.
