The Tuckahoe 25K

The Tuckahoe 25K is a trail race held Saturday, November 21, 2026 in Queen Anne, MD. The event covers 25K (about 15.5 miles) of trail miles, so GPS distance may vary from the course measurement. The course is mostly single-track with some wider horse trails.

The route is not described as overly technical or rocky, but it includes runnable hills and a few rooty, muddy sections. Participants should expect variable conditions including cold, rain, snow, or mud, and the race proceeds in rain, sleet, or snow. The event will only be canceled for a force majeure event that prevents EMS, aid stations, or support staff from functioning; if canceled no refunds or credits will be given.

There are three fully stocked aid stations offering water, electrolyte drinks, gels, and staffed volunteers, plus real food options both sweet and salty. Awards are given to the top three men and the top three women, and all participants receive event swag.

The race is organized by Algonquin Ultras Inc. and associated with the Centreville Crushers Running Club. Algonquin Ultras is described as a community-driven, eco-friendly, volunteer-supported organization that partners with Maryland Parks and Maryland Forests. Race policies include no bib transfers, visible bibs, no pacers or crews, no dogs for runners, and no deferrals or refunds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
