Among the Trees is a trail running event held in Dousman, Wisconsin, on October 31, 2026. The course utilizes the historic Ice Age Trail and the Scuppernong trails within the Southern Kettle Moraine Forest. Participants run through the forest during the autumn season, passing through areas of fall foliage and natural landscapes.

Available distances include:

  • 100k: Features a total elevation gain of 6,493 feet.
  • 50k: Features a total elevation gain of 2,221 feet.

Both races begin at the DJ Mackie Campground. Runners first complete the green loop of the Scuppernong trail before heading west on the Ice Age Trail toward Emma Carlin. Aid stations are positioned along the routes at various points, including HWY 67, Emma Carlin, HWY 12, and Whitewater. These stations provide water, Tailwind, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, pickles, bananas, potato chips, and Sour Patch Kids. For the 100k distance, pacers are permitted to join runners at any point after the Whitewater turnaround.

Finishers receive a wooden medal that they can brand on-site. There is also an option to have the finishing time burned onto the back of the medal. A military discount is available for registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
