The loop will be lighted at night; runners may also use a flashlight or headlamp. Chip timing records laps and the running direction will be changed every three hours.

A manned aid station at the loop start/finish offers a variety of food and fluids, including Hammer Nutrition products. This is a cupless event; runners must carry their own container. A reusable cup will be provided at check-in if needed. Runners may set up personal supplies and crew areas along the course. Pacing is not allowed, but crew and family may accompany runners during walking breaks.

Online registration runs from March 1 through August 31; race day registration is available with cash or check payable to the Badgerland Striders. A Wisconsin State Park sticker is required for all vehicles and is not included in the entry fee. Proceeds benefit the Friends of Lapham Peak. Sponsors include Badgerland Striders and Hammer Nutrition. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
