Badgerland Striders 24-12-6 Hour Runs

The event is a series of timed running events held at Lapham Peak State Park, Evergreen Lot, Delafield, WI on September 5 and 6, 2026. Runners complete repeated laps of a one mile loop composed of gravel, grass, and dirt, with an elevation gain of 87 feet per loop. The loop is lighted at night and chip timing records each lap. Direction is switched every three hours.

Available formats include fixed time events and a Distance division for set distances such as a marathon, 50K, or 50 miles where participants may take more time than six hours. The 12 hour and 6 hour divisions offer day and night options. Online registration is open March 1 through August 31; race day registration is also available and accepts cash or check payable to the Badgerland Striders.

A manned aid station is located at the start/finish with a variety of foods and fluids. Hammer Nutrition products are provided as part of sponsorship. The event is cupless; runners are responsible for a reusable container for refilling. A reusable cup will be provided at check in courtesy of Hammer Nutrition. Personal crew and support setups are permitted along the course. Pacing by another runner is not allowed, though family and friends may crew and accompany participants during walking breaks.

Awards include a plaque for all finishers with name and mileage, and champion plaques for top male and female in selected divisions. Proceeds benefit the Friends of Lapham Peak.
