Amicalola Falls Marathon is a trail running event in Amicalola Falls State Park in Dawsonville, GA. The event offers both a full marathon and a half marathon that run on park trails with waterfall and mountain views, including the 729-foot Amicalola Falls.

The full marathon course is composed of two loops that include the 605 steps of the Appalachian Approach Trail. The half and full courses are reported to have approximately 3,200 feet and 6,400 feet of elevation gain and loss, respectively. Trail surface is mainly singletrack (about 83%) with the remainder on gravel or paved sections (about 17%). Routes are clearly marked with flags and signage.
Support on course includes two fully stocked aid stations with food, drinks, and medical support. The event provides professional timing, free race photos and videos, a race shirt or hat, and a finisher medal. Awards include overall and age-group prizes, with top-three awards in listed age categories.
