The course starts at the top of Amicalola Falls and follows East Ridge Trail, Mountain Laurel Trail, the Appalachian Approach Trail (including the 605 steps up the falls), and the Len Foote Trail. The full marathon is described as having approximately 6,400 feet of elevation gain and loss; the half marathon shows about 3,200 feet of elevation gain and loss. The route is marked with signs and flagging throughout, and participants must punch all flags to receive credit for the course.

A community 5K and one mile run at Cherokee Bluff High School supporting Cherokee Bluff and Flowery Branch cross country programs. Proceeds benefit the teams and the course follows the school cross country loop.

Community-focused trail event at Boling Park featuring a roughly 5K trail run, a kids one mile fun run, live music and food trucks.

A timed trail event at Lake Zwerner in Dahlonega featuring a 4.63 mile loop and 6 hour, 12 hour, and 24 hour race options. The course has rocky and rooty sections, steep climbs, runnable ridge lines, and a single staffed aid station.

A 5k all-terrain run through North Georgia Wildlife Park with animal encounters and a meet and greet with Scottish Highland cows. Options include a 1 mile fun run and a virtual run, and proceeds benefit Creation Encounters.
