Alderley Winter Warmer is a trail running event on Sunday 28 December 2025 at Glasshouse, Alderley Park, Alderley Edge, Macclesfield, SK10 4TG, United Kingdom. The event uses a 10km route on the trails of Alderley Park. The format asks entrants to predict their 10km time, remove any timing devices or watches before running, and compares actual finish times to predictions; the winner is the entrant whose actual time is closest to their predicted time. The event is licensed by the Trail Runners Association and held under UKA rules.

Entries, fees and other details

Entry is limited to 300 runners and the minimum age is 16 on race day. The standard entry fee is £13.00, with an additional £2.00 charged for entrants who are not members of a UKA affiliated club or the Trail Running Association, and an admin charge of £1.10 applies to all entries. Entries close at midnight on Friday 26 December 2025 or when the entry limit is reached. There are no refunds or deferrals for this event; entry fees, minus costs, are treated as donations.

Prizes will be awarded to the entrants closest to their predicted times at a nearby pub by the finish. Breakfast rolls will be available to purchase for runners after the race. The event supports Stockport Foodbank; net entry income will be donated and participants are invited to bring additional food donations.
