Achmony Hill Race

The Achmony Hill Race is an athletic event held in Drumnadrochit as part of the afternoon schedule for the Glenurquhart Highland Games. The competition is based at the Games Field and features a single distance for participants.

The course covers approximately 3.5 miles and includes a total elevation gain of 700 feet. Because much of the route is visible from the main games field, spectators are able to track the progress of runners throughout the race. Participants conclude the run by returning to the central arena.

Registration is open to individuals aged 17 or older. Participants have the option to enter the event online in advance or to register in person at the venue on the day of the race.
