A Louisiana Summer Night Ultra is a 10 hour overnight trail event held at Acadiana area trails in Lafayette, Louisiana. The event uses a looped course of 3.8 miles that combines single track trail, sections of gravel road, and wooden boardwalks. The route is marked with reflective tape.

Runners are required to carry a personal light source and their own hydration for each loop. This is a cupless event; runners should bring a reusable cup. There is one well stocked aid station located on the lap that runners pass twice each circuit.

Entries receive event items including a shirt and a reusable cup. Finishers who complete at least five laps receive a finisher award. Additional awards are given to the top three female and top three male overall finishers.

Logistics note that packet pickup is handled at the race start location and a pre-race meeting is held for all participants. T-shirt availability is linked to registering by July 1. Camping is available at Acadiana Park campground and a range of nearby lodging options exist in Lafayette.

The Made for More Ultra is a backyard-style race where runners complete a 4.2-mile loop every hour until only one remains. That final runner must complete one last solo lap to be the sole winner. Entry is by lottery for 60 spots.
