Event Information

The 5KM BougeBouge Montreal Underground is a 5 km run taking place in Montreal's underground pedestrian network, the RÉSO. The event is scheduled for February 14, 2027.

Course and Experience

The course connects several points of the downtown underground network. The start is at Carrefour IA (Industrielle Alliance), located at 977 Sainte-Catherine Street West. The finish is at Complexe Desjardins. Participants pass through shopping centres and passages such as Les Cours Mont-Royal, Place Montréal Trust, the Eaton Centre, and Place Ville-Marie. The course includes stairs. Strollers are not permitted.

Logistics

Athlete check-in begins at 7:00 a.m. The start is organized into colour-coded waves based on estimated finish time: Red (under 29 minutes), Yellow (30-34 minutes), Blue (35-45 minutes), and Green (46 minutes and over). An awards ceremony for the top three men and women is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. A free, limited-capacity bag check is available at the start and finish lines. A water refill station is located at the 3 km mark. A snack bag is provided at the finish.

Registration and Bib Pickup

Online registration closes on the Thursday before the event. Bib pickup is available on February 12 and 13, 2027, at IGA Marché Verreault et Normandeau, 5 Place Desjardins. Limited last-minute registrations are available on-site at an additional cost. Group discount rates are offered.

Accessibility

Outdoor street parking is free on weekends in downtown Montreal. The closest metro stations to the start are McGill and Peel. The finish is near Place-des-Arts station.
