5KM BougeBouge Montreal underground : event description

BougeBouge presents an indoor running event that follows Montreal's underground pedestrian network. The main distance is 5 km; the event listing also shows a 5 km walk and a 1 km option in the ticketing section.

The route passes through many named locations in the underground network, including Les Cours Mont‑Royal, Carrefour Industrielle Alliance (start), Place Montréal Trust, Montreal Eaton Centre, McGill metro station, Promenades Cathédrale, Place Ville Marie, Central Station, 1000 De La Gauchetière, Place Bonaventure, World Trade Centre, Victoria metro station, Palais des congrès and Complexe Desjardins (finish). A refill station is available at the 3 km mark near the World Trade Centre fountain; no cups will be provided.

Logistics include two cloakrooms with limited spaces (120 spots at Carrefour Industrielle Alliance and a cloakroom at Complexe Desjardins) and bib pickup at IGA Marché Verreault et Normandeau, Place Desjardins on the designated pre-event days; exceptions can be requested. Medals must be collected at bib pickup; unclaimed medals will be recycled. Stairs must be climbed and descended one step at a time and mechanical escalators are prohibited.

Registration shows a price range from $22.00 to $42.00, group discounts (10% for 5–9 tickets, 15% for 10+), a platform fee of $2.95 plus 3%, and possible higher fees for late registration. BougeBouge Beaconsfield features a family friendly one kilometre cross country loop in Centennial Park. Three distances are offered on a mostly grass course near the water. It's a community event with limited capacity.

A Backyard Ultra at Kahnawake Marina on July 18, 2026 where runners repeat a 6.7 km loop each hour until only one remains. A cash prize is offered and proceeds will support Tetewatatia’takéhnhahs Purple Ribbon Walk and event costs.

A 5 km fun run at Mont Saint Bruno on August 15 2026, featuring 25 plus obstacles, large foam zones and a family oriented festival area with a Kids Fun Zone and food and drink options. Spectator entry is free.

Family oriented forest running in Mascouche on 27 September 2026 with distances from 500 m to 10 km, team relay and funrun canicross. Organized by ASC Coaching and presented by Évolution Physio.
