PFHCF and OCHCF 5k Run/Walk for Conservation - Middleburg
On May 25, 2026, a 5k run/walk takes place on the Stoke estate in Middleburg, Virginia. The course runs through open fields, rolling hills, and stretches of dense forest along Little River on a farm of just under 300 acres. The estate was built in 1840 and underwent renovations in 1907; barns were added around 1910 to support dairy operations. The barns were later converted in the 1970s into a 14 stall horse barn and the barns and grounds received extensive renovation in 2011. The property currently operates as a horse boarding facility serving foxhunters.
Participants should be prepared for rugged, uneven terrain, including very steep hills. The event is open to all ages; participants aged 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. All participants are required to sign a waiver. Post event arrangements include snacks and drinks. The event is organized by the Piedmont Fox Hounds Conservation Fund and takes place at 23590 Stoke Farm Lane, Middleburg, VA. Free parking is available and the event follows a no refund policy.
