Night Raider 10k

Event Overview

The Night Raider is a 5k and 10k evening trail run. The event takes place at the Winery at Bull Run in Centreville, Virginia. The course runs through the historic Manassas National Battlefield Park. Race participation contributes points towards the organizer's Year-Long and Sippin series.

Distances

• 5k – $35 until April 30, then $40.
• 10k – $50 until April 30, then $55.

Prices increase by $5 for each distance on race day. A virtual run option is also available for those who cannot attend on the scheduled date.

The Course

The route is a trail run on battlefield property. It features cross-country paths, dirt trails, a boardwalk, and some gravel paths. The course includes hills. The 5k is one lap, while the 10k is two laps of the same course. Maps are available online.

Runner Perks and Information

Registered runners receive a finisher medal, a technical event shirt, one glass of wine from the winery, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations before May 12; later registrations receive shirts on a first-come, first-served basis.

There are awards for the top three overall men and women, as well as for first and second place in standard age groups. Overall winners are not eligible for age group awards.

Packet pickup and race day registration are available on-site. The event includes water stations on the course. Portajohns are located near the start/finish, and restrooms are available inside the winery.

Beneficiary

The event benefits the Manassas Battlefield Trust, a philanthropic partner of the National Park Service dedicated to preserving the historic battlefield. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
