Sikome Lake event (May 9th)

This is the first event in the 5 Peaks Trail Running Series in Central Alberta, held at Sikome Lake in Fish Creek Provincial Park in south Calgary. The park features paved, hard-packed and single-track trails and an outdoor lake. A 2026 series pass is offered for the regional series.

Race distances and maps may change based on trail conditions. The event is cup-free; water and electrolyte drink are available at the start, finish and at one or more aid stations. Participants planning to be out longer than an hour are asked to carry a receptacle for liquids and calories. Washroom facilities are available at the start/finish area. Parking is described as plentiful. Spectators are welcome. Volunteering opportunities are available for the event.

Awards and swag: medals and awards will be given to the top three finishers by gender in each age category and distance, and to the top three male and female overall. Swag and finisher medals are not included with registration and must be picked up at the event; they will not be mailed or held for later pickup.
