5 Peaks at Sikome Lake, Fish Creek Provincial Park
This event takes place at Sikome Lake inside Fish Creek Provincial Park in south Calgary. The venue offers paved paths, hard packed trails and single track, plus an outdoor lake used in summer. On-site facilities include washrooms at the start and finish area and plentiful parking.
Distances and formats offered:
- Kids 1 km
- Kids 3 km
- Sport 5.9 km run or hike
- Enduro 10.7 km run or hike
Route maps, elevation profiles and aid station locations are provided for each distance. The event operates as cup free; water and electrolyte drink are available at the start, finish and at one or more aid stations on course. Participants planning to be out longer than an hour are advised to carry a container for liquids and calories.
Course rules: no dogs, no headphones, no strollers or baby joggers, and hiking poles are allowed only in non‑competitive hiking categories. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers by gender in each age and distance category and to the top three male and female overall; an awards ceremony follows result verification.
