5 Peaks Trail Running - Sikome Lake (Fish Creek Provincial Park)

The event is held at Sikome Lake in Fish Creek Provincial Park in south Calgary. The venue features paved trails, hard-packed trails, single track, and an outdoor lake used in summer.

  • Enduro - 10.7 km

Route maps are provided and show elevation gain and loss as well as aid station locations. Race distances and routes may change based on trail conditions up to race day.

Logistical details: washroom facilities are available in the start/finish area, there is ample parking at Sikome Lake, and spectators are welcome. The event is cup-free; water and an electrolyte drink are supplied at the start, finish, and at one or more aid stations on course. Participants expecting to be out for more than an hour are asked to carry a receptacle for drinking and for carrying calories and electrolytes.

Individual registration fees do not include swag or medals; these items can be purchased through the registration platform. Swag, finisher medals and awards must be picked up at the event and will not be mailed or held for later pickup. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers by gender in each age category for each distance, and to the top three overall male and female finishers. A fitness adventure at North Glenmore Park that places adults, kids and k9s on a military style obstacle course. The event focuses on varied terrain and unrevealed obstacles and lasts about two hours.

Experience Canada largest inflatable obstacle course in Calgary featuring a 5 km route with ten giant slides and bouncers. Enjoy a mud free day of physical challenges accompanied by a live DJ and energetic atmosphere.

A Kananaskis trail event featuring a 42.2 km mountain marathon and a half marathon option on singletrack. Aid stations, mandatory safety gear and finisher medals with podium prizes for each distance.

Backyard Ultra in Okotoks on June 27, 2026 runs on a 6.71 km public loop along the Sheep River. Options include Last Person Standing and timed 15 hour and 24 hour events with limited entries.
