Yeti Half : Bluhm County Park
The event takes place at Bluhm County Park, 3855 S 1100 W, Westville, IN 46391. The course is four loops around the park, with each loop measuring 3.4 miles. Organizers will mark the course with flags, arrow signs, and survey tape on trees; participants are asked to follow the markings rather than other runners.
Timing is manual and loops will be recorded as runners pass the start/finish area, so bibs must be worn on the front of the shirt. There is a race cutoff of 4 hour 30 minutes.
Facilities include the outdoor Grove Shelter, which is the only shelter in the park, and multi-use trails west of the shelter. As of August 11, 2026, the dirt trails were closed and final trail availability will be determined closer to the event. One aid station will be provided at the shelter with water, Gatorade, and pre-packaged snacks; there is no aid on the course. Runners will pass near cars and restrooms each loop, and a picnic table will be available for items left between loops.
Participants receive a limited-edition long sleeve cotton shirt and a winter hat and gloves in one size. Shirt quantities are limited. There is no formal awards ceremony; overall winners receive a Yeti figure and a Starbucks gift card, and all finishers may choose an item from a prize table. The event is presented by the Crazy Legs Race Series, which promotes non-pavement and pavement races in northwest Indiana and states an inclusive registration policy and a land acknowledgment.
