Save the Drama for your Llama 6 Hour Trail Run
Save the Drama for your Llama is a timed six hour trail run held on February 6, 2027 at Luhr County Park, 3178 S 150 W, La Porte, IN 46350. Participants run repeated loops of a course that is about 1.7 miles in length and seek to complete as many loops as possible within the six hour period. A lap that is in progress when the six hours end is not counted toward the total distance.
Loop completion is recorded as runners arrive at the start and finish area. Runners are expected to wear their bib number on the front of their shirt. Overall female and male winners are determined by the greatest number of miles completed during the six hour window.
The course is marked with flags and signs and participants should follow those markings rather than simply following other runners. Runners may stop, take breaks, and refuel during the six hours. All registered runners receive a Llama Hat. Items from other races organized by the same series will be available for purchase at five dollars each.
The event is produced by the Crazy Legs Race Series, which focuses on developing and managing non pavement and pavement races in northwest Indiana and holds races in parks and areas across Lake, Porter, and Laporte counties.
