Save the Drama for your Llama 6 Hour Trail Run
This event on February 6, 2027 takes place at Luhr County Park, 3178 S 150 W, La Porte, IN 46350. It is a six hour trail running event where participants run repeated loops and try to complete as many loops as possible within the allotted time.
Each loop is about 1.7 miles in length. Organizers check off each loop when a runner arrives in the start/finish area; runners should wear their bib number on the front of their shirt. If a runner is in the middle of a lap when the timing period ends, that lap does not count toward the total.
The course will be marked with flags and signs; participants are asked to follow those markings rather than another runner's line. Runners may stop, take breaks, or refuel during the six hour period. Overall female and male winners are the runners who cover the most miles in the six hour timeframe.
All entrants receive a Llama Hat. Items from the organizer’s other races will be available for sale for five dollars.
The event is produced by the Crazy Legs Race Series. The series promotes non-pavement and pavement races in northwest Indiana, holds races in parks or areas in Lake, Porter, and Laporte counties, states an inclusive registration policy for transgender runners, and includes a land acknowledgement for the Miami, Shawnee, Illinois, and Lenape peoples.
