Wirral Multi-Terrain League - Arrowe Park

The Wirral Multi-Terrain League runs a series of four midweek races in September, each held on a Tuesday at different Wirral venues. The 2026 schedule includes Wirral Country Park, Royden Park (Frankby), Harrison Drive (Wallasey) and Arrowe Park on 22 September 2026.

Courses use varied underfoot conditions, including sand, rocks, mud and hills. Senior race distances are between 6.5K and 8K while junior races are shorter and run over approximately two miles.

Entries are open to first claim members of UK Athletics affiliated clubs; second claim runners may take part if their first claim club does not participate. Competitors must wear their recognised club colours. Organisers ask that entrants are able to complete the course in one hour or less for safety. For two-lap races a cut off may be imposed and runners could be asked to finish after one lap for safety reasons.

Entry fees are specified per race and for series entries, with separate junior rates. Entries are taken online prior to each event and can be placed shortly before the race. Results and series standings are published after each race. Trophies and medals are awarded based on performances across the four races, with individual awards usually decided on the best three of four results and team scoring covering all four events. UK Athletics rules apply. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
