About the race
Petzl Night Runner Delamere Forest is an organised night trail running event at Delamere Forest Visitor Centre in Delamere, Cheshire CW8 2JD. The event uses a Halloween theme and encourages fancy dress, including glow in the dark items.

The route follows clearly signed woodland trails and reflective markers that work with a head torch beam. The course mixes smooth forest tracks and natural trails and can be very muddy in places. The route includes an ascent to Old Pale followed by a descent to the finish.
Participants are required to carry a good quality head torch or hand held torch. Road shoes are not adequate; trail or fell shoes with aggressive tread are recommended. Given winter conditions, warm clothing and a wind or waterproof jacket are advised. The minimum age for the main races is 16 on the day.
Included with entry are aid stations, course support, electronic timing and online results, a custom finishers medal, fully signed routes, music at key locations, and free photos and video.
