Upstate Strut for Childhood Cancer
The Upstate Strut for Childhood Cancer is a community running event on September 26, 2026 at Milliken Arboretum in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The event raises funds for Children’s Cancer Partners of the Carolinas to support local children with cancer and their families. Last year the event raised more than $65,000 for that purpose.
The event includes both a cross-country fun run and a 5K race, plus a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. Distances offered:

- 1 Mile
Participants receive race shirts with registration. Registrants who sign up by August 28 are guaranteed a shirt size; availability is limited after that date. Teams can be created or joined during registration, and trophies are planned for Most Spirited Team, Largest Team, and Top Fundraising Team awarded after the race.
Awards are listed for overall and age group finishers, including Top 3 male and female overall and age group winners in these brackets: 0-16, 17-34, 35-54, 55-69, 70+. Packet pickup is scheduled at Rockers on Tuesday, September 22, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., with a half price pint offer during pickup.
