True to the Brew Trail Run/Hike Half Marathon
The True to the Brew Trail Run/Hike Half Marathon is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Croft Passage in Croft State Park, Spartanburg, SC. The event uses a new course on the Croft Passage of the Palmetto Trail and covers 13.1 miles.
Entry is limited to 200 runners. The 2026 edition is currently sold out; a wait list is available and prospective entrants will be notified by email if a slot opens, with 24 hours to accept a place. Registration for the event opened on November 24, 2025 and closed on December 31, 2025. The organizer set a separate shirt guarantee deadline of September 1, 2026; sizes are guaranteed only for registrations completed before that date, and additional shirts will be ordered as available.
The course is described as moderate with some hills and as a technical trail. A four hour cut off time applies for completing the course. For safety and event management, no strollers or dogs are allowed on the course, participants must be at least 14 years old to register, and bib exchanges are not permitted after September 25, 2026.
