Camp Croft 50K, 50 Miler, and 100 Miler
Camp Croft 50K, 50 Miler, and 100 Miler is held at Croft State Park in Spartanburg, SC, and is organized by Mountaineer Rumble Events. The event is built around a single loop course that measures 10.05 miles and uses the Fainforest Creek Connector and the Southside Trail Loop.
The trails include a mixture of flat sections, rolling hills, and smooth single track. Each loop has about 700 feet of elevation gain. Runners complete multiple loops to reach their chosen distance.
- 50K : three 10.05 mile loops
- 50 Mile : five 10.05 mile loops
- 100 Mile : ten 10.05 mile loops
- 10 Mile : single shorter option
Each loop has a fully stocked aid station at the start and finish area. There is an additional water and Gatorade station at mile 4.25 that may be staffed during the event. Time limits are listed as 10 hours for the 50K, 17 hours for the 50 Mile, and 32 hours for the 100 Mile. Finishers of the 50K and 50 Mile receive a medal, while 100 Mile finishers receive a custom designed buckle.
Runners in the 50K, 50 Mile, and 100 Mile events may choose a campsite for Friday and Saturday night. Campsite reservations are available through Croft State Park. The race weekend schedule includes packet pickup and pizza on Friday, a pre-race meeting and the races on Saturday, and race cut-offs on Sunday.
