Buck Creek Streak 5K at Carolina Foothills Resort
Buck Creek Streak is the 13th annual trail event held at Carolina Foothills Resort on Saturday, June 12, 2027. The event is a clothing optional trail run and walk that follows woods, trails, and meadows on resort property.
Participants may choose one of the offered distances:
- 5K
- 7.3K (optional challenge at no additional cost)
Runners who complete the 7.3K are also entered into the 5K but registrants must select a single race length. The 7.3K finishers receive a special finisher's medal. Awards are given for overall male and female finishers and for age group placings in the 5K. The race uses professional chip timing with an ankle strap chip and instant results displayed on a screen.
Registration has tiered early bird pricing:
- $45 from June 14, 2026 through December 31, 2026
- $55 from January 1, 2027 through March 31, 2027
- $65 from April 1, 2027 through June 9, 2027
No same day registration is available. Registration by May 10, 2027 includes a specialty event T-shirt, a lunch ticket, and a day pass to the resort. Registrations after that date receive those items while supplies last. Carolina Foothills Resort requires background check approval for first time visitors before admittance through the gate.
