Hollis Heat: Time Trials
Hollis Heat: Time Trials is a time-based running event at Hollis Hills Farm in Ellenboro, NC. The event offers multiple timed formats on a looped farm course that includes an out-and-back fire road section and a pre-loop elevation gain of 200 feet.
The course consists of a 3 mile loop around the farm. Aid stations are stocked with basic food items such as pickles, cereal, pretzels, candy, fruit and bacon. Hydration options include water, Tailwind and a variety of sodas. First aid supplies will be available at the aid station.

Bibs are not available for pickup the day before; bib pickup is handled on race day only. The event enforces a 10 hour cutoff for finishing. Medals are handmade pottery by BlueGill Pottery; each medal is unique. Race results will be posted on UltrasignUp.
Additional rules state that dogs and strollers are not allowed on the course unless a special exception is granted. Runners and walkers may participate provided they finish within the time limit. Entry fees are non refundable if the event is canceled, including for inclement weather. Registrations contribute to farm development; supplemental options at checkout include camping and an option described as buying a chicken for the farm.
