Wild Hare Trail Race
Wild Hare Trail Race takes place at Bluff Creek Ranch in Warda, Texas on November 14, 2026. The event offers multiple looped distances on a 7.8 mile course that combines twisty mountain bike style singletrack, open fast fields, and climbs and descents over a bluff. Bathrooms and showers are available at the start area.

Course format and laps: 50 mile runners complete a modified first lap of about 11 miles then five full 7.8 mile laps. The 50K is four full loops, the 25K is two loops, and the 10K is one loop with a short cutoff. The Midway Aid Station sits about 3.5 miles into the loop; aid support is provided at the Start/Finish and the Midway station. The event is cupless so participants should bring a personal cup or bottle; collapsible cups are available for purchase at packet pickup.
Course marking uses orange caution tape, yellow arrows, and confidence markers, including reflective markers for low light. Chip timing is used with both gun time and chip time reported. Pacers may be permitted for the longer distances with registration; pacers must start and end at an aid station and only one pacer may accompany a runner at a time. Drop bag service is not provided, but participants may place bags near the Midway Aid Station or around the Start/Finish area off the course.
