About the race
Night at the Arcade Trail Run is a looped trail event held at Buescher State Park near Smithville, Texas on June 5, 2027. The event has a 400 runner maximum and offers multiple looped distances with specified loop counts for each distance. Each loop contains about 450 feet of elevation gain and descent and follows a mix of narrow paths and single-track with smaller inclines and rocky sections.

- 57K five loops
- 28M four loops
- 14M two loops
- 7M one loop
- 5K one loop
There are two full aid stations located at approximately 3.60 miles and 7.20 miles. Aid stations are fully stocked with drinks, sodas, sweets, salty snacks, PB&Js, bean burrito rolls, fruit, medical supplies (no NSAIDs), feminine care products, and a variety of evening foods. The event is cupless; participants must use reusable cups, bottles, or hydration packs. A designated drop bag area will be available at the main aid station.
Race rules include a hard cutoff at 6:00 am for all distances and a prohibition on dropping to a shorter distance during the race; failure to finish the registered distance is recorded as a DNF. Parking inside the park is limited to about 150 cars with shuttle service from Rocky Hill Ranch four miles away. Camping is available at Buescher State Park and nearby Bastrop State Park. Awards and race swag are listed as TBD; podium awards cover top finishers by gender and nonbinary categories and include master age-group awards. Volunteer positions carry park entry, camping area, race merchandise, and meal benefits and can provide reduced or complimentary future race entries.
