About the race
The Big 50 is a trail running event organized by Revolution Running Co. at F.D. Roosevelt State Park in Pine Mountain, Georgia. The event marks its 11th year and uses single track trail that climbs and drops along the Pine Mountain Trail.

Participants who register by April 1 receive a Big 50 shirt. All finishers receive a medal. Overall awards are given to the top three men and top three women in each race. First overall in each race receives a free entry to the 2028 Bootlegger Trail race of their choice.
A free hotdog cookout is provided after the races for participants and guests. Registration opens October 1, 2026. The event is held at F.D. Roosevelt State Park in Pine Mountain, GA and is organized by Revolution Running Co.
The refund policy allows a 100 percent refund up to three months before the race date; after that point no refunds are offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
