8 Hours of Christmas
8 Hours of Christmas is a 50K vertical elimination race held in Molena, GA on December 19, 2026, at 506 Thundering Springs Rd. The course is a 3.85 mile loop with about 950 feet of elevation gain. Each participant has 70 minutes to complete a loop and return to the starting area; runners who do not finish a loop within the 70 minute period are eliminated. This process repeats for up to eight loops, and on the final 3.85 mile loop the fastest lap determines the winner.
After each successful loop, participants receive a prize. After the first loop everyone earns a Christmas ornament and after the second loop everyone receives a water bottle; awards for subsequent loops increase through hour eight.
Everyone who registers becomes a Revolution Running member for 2027. Registrants receive a pair of Revolution Running sweat pants at packet pickup and a 20 percent discount on all Revolution Running races in 2027. A 20 percent discount code is sent with the race email confirmation.
The event offers a refund policy that allows a full refund up to three months before the race date; after that point no refunds are available. Registration closes on December 16, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
