Holiday Hootie Hoo - Pine Mountain, GA
The Holiday Hootie Hoo is the 9th annual trail running event organized by the Southern Singletrack Trail Series at F.D.R. State Park in Pine Mountain, Georgia, held on December 13, 2026. The event includes two distances run on natural singletrack with rocky, root-filled surfaces and leaf cover, with sections that pass rock outcroppings, hardwood and longleaf pine forest, springs, and creek crossings.

The 10K uses the Mountain Creek Nature Trail Loop and part of the Longleaf Loop. The half marathon follows a longer route with additional natural features. Aid stations are supplied at 1 location for the 10K and at about 2.5 stations for the half marathon. Overall male and female awards are given.
Entry fees listed in event materials are $70 for the 10K and $85 for the half marathon, with prices increasing after November 21. Registration closes on December 9 at 11:59 PM ET and there is no race-day registration. Transfers, refunds, and deferments are not available. Each registered runner receives a race hoodie and a finisher award; hoodie size is not guaranteed for registrations after November 25.
A $10 parking fee per vehicle is required at Georgia State Parks. Parking capacity is limited. A portion of race proceeds benefits the park, the Pine Mountain Trail Association, and the Humane Society of Harris County; food donations for the Humane Society are collected at the event.
