Holiday Hootie Hoo
The Holiday Hootie Hoo is a trail race held on December 13, 2026, at F.D.R. State Park in Pine Mountain, Georgia. The event is organized by the Southern Singletrack Trail Series and serves as the final race of the series.

The Half Marathon route follows long sections of Pine Mountain trail and features rock outcroppings, hardwood and longleaf pine forests, rock formations, springs, and creek crossings. The 10K follows the Mountain Creek Nature Trail Loop and part of the Longleaf Loop. Both courses include rocky, root-filled singletrack covered in leaves.
Aid stations are provided along the routes: one aid station for the 10K and 2.5 aid stations for the Half Marathon. Each entrant receives a race hoodie and a finisher award; hoodie size is not guaranteed for registrations after November 25. No transfers, refunds, or deferments are allowed. There is no race-day registration.
A portion of race proceeds will benefit the park, the Pine Mountain Trail Association, and the Humane Society of Harris County. The event also collects canned or bagged dog and cat food for the Humane Society of Harris County. A $10 parking fee per vehicle is required at Georgia State Parks; parking is limited and self-pay boxes and annual passes are available at park headquarters.
