Small Town Christmas 34 Hour
Small Town Christmas 34 Hour takes place on December 5, 2026 in Valley, AL. The event is a 34 hour ultrarunning race held on a 2 mile loop along the banks of the Chattahoochee River.
The race is organized by Muddy Crudd Trail and Ultrarunning. It is intended to help support the town's annual carousel tradition. Each year a carousel is set up for children free of charge; the tradition began as an outreach by local textile mills and now continues largely through donations from local businesses and the city.
Awards are specified for participants. Runners registered by the t-shirt deadline of 11/25/2026 will receive an event t-shirt. Each finisher receives a unique finisher award. Runners who reach 100 miles receive a custom MuddyCrudd belt buckle.
