Sundowner 5K Series : Edinburgh summer evenings
The Sundowner 5K Series is a summer evening running series in Edinburgh that visits three parks: Leith Links, Fettes and Inverleith Park. Each event comprises a 5 km route run on inner trail paths within the parks.
Events are scheduled across three dates in summer 2026, with each venue hosting one race. Entry options include a single race at £12 or all three races for £30. Each event has a maximum field of 250 runners and limited on-the-day places may be available subject to capacity.
Courses are clearly marked and marshals supervise the route. The races use chip timing and include race photography. Finishers receive medals. Prizes are awarded for the fastest male and female in each age category at each event, and a special prize is offered for the most improved runner across the series.
