The 13th ERN LP Run
The Edinburgh Running Network LP Run takes place on 26 September 2026 at Meadowmill Sports Centre near Tranent. The event uses the LP format: entrants run as many laps of the track as they can during a 33.3 minute music set. Music for the run is selected by entrants, with the 2026 theme "tracks from our youth."
The event supports The Junction, a registered charity (SC036721) that works with young people in North East Edinburgh. All profits and donations on the day will go to the charity. The LP Run is held under a Scottish Athletics Track and Field Permit and follows UK Athletics rules.
Entry is limited to 120 places and entries are open. Prices include discounted rates for members of SA EA WA and standard rates; specific fees and entry deadlines are published by the organiser. T shirts cost £12.50 and are available by pre-order only; music requests and T shirt orders must be placed by Monday 7th September.
Every entrant receives a biscuit medal and there are prizes for top finishers and spot awards. Additional features on the day include junior 100m and 400m races, refreshments with tea coffee and cakes, a kit swap for preowned clothing, optional fancy dress with prizes, and a bake competition with adult and junior categories.
