Dalmeny Halloween Trail Half
The Dalmeny Halloween Trail Half is a trail running event on Saturday 31 October 2026 around Dalmeny Estate and nearby Cammo Nature Reserve, based at Longcraigs Scout Hall in South Queensferry. The route uses wooded trails, riverside paths and farm tracks and includes under 1,000 ft of total ascent.
The race distance is 13.1 miles / 21.1 km and the minimum age is 17 on race day. Entry is limited to approximately 400 participants. The published entry fee is £28 with an optional minimum charity donation of £1 from every entry to South Queensferry RNLI.
Course safety measures include marshals, first aiders and route markers. The event is chip timed and all finishers receive a medal. Prizes are awarded to first male and female in each age category. Event clothing such as t shirts and hoodies can be preordered or bought on the day. A buffet and hot drinks are provided in the finisher area.
Facilities at the event base include parking in South Queensferry, toilets and a bag drop at the Scout Hall. Longcraigs Scout Hall is about 1 mile from Dalmeny rail station. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
