One Epic Run
One Epic Run is a resurrected 24 hour running event held at Croft State Park in Spartanburg, South Carolina on December 5 to 6, 2026. The event uses the park's old 5K loop, routed over to the Southside.
Participants complete self timed laps on the loop and count laps by placing a rock in a personal cup for each lap completed. Timing is manual and participants report their totals at the end of the event. Bibs are assigned at check-in on race morning at the check-in table near the start and finish area. Race-day registration is available via mobile until the event begins.
The aid station operates as a shared food table supplied by participants; the event is cup-less so runners must provide their own hydration vessel. Parking and camping are available through Croft State Park; the park charges an admission fee and accepts camping reservations through its reservation system. The park address is 450 Croft State Park Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
Awards are given by gun time to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age group categories run from 9 & under through 80 & over. The event proceeds in most weather; the beginning may be delayed if lightning or severe weather makes conditions unsafe. Registration fee is $50 and registration opens December 31, 2025 and closes December 5, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
