New River Gorge Trifecta
The New River Gorge Trifecta is a calendar-year endurance challenge held in New River Gorge National Park, WV, organized by Rim to River Endurance Co. The series comprises three separate races that together form the Trifecta when completed in the same year.
The three events and formats are:
- Cabin Fever 50K (point-to-point)
- Falling Water 100K (4 x 25K loops)
- Rim to River 100 (out-and-back)
For 2027 the three race dates are listed as February 20, April 24, and October 23. Registration for the Trifecta includes entry in all three races, is limited to 50 spots, and carries a fee of $775. Trifecta registrants who drop from any individual race are not eligible for refunds under the Trifecta entry policy.
All Trifecta finishers receive a custom belt buckle, plaque, hat, and jacket. Proceeds from registrations support programming for Adventure Appalachia, a nonprofit that provides outdoor adventure experiences for adolescents and adults.
