Lyndhurst FC Clubhouse Run
The Lyndhurst FC Clubhouse Run is a fundraiser for a new clubhouse, staged on Sunday 28th February 2027. The event offers gravel-track running through Pondhead Inclosure with routes that start on Beechen Lane. Organisers expect up to 500 runners following an inaugural event in 2026.
Distances:
- 5 km, one lap through Pondhead Inclosure on gravel tracks
- 10 km, two laps of the same loop on gravel tracks
Both routes are limited in extent to avoid disturbing ground nesting birds. Race services include chip timing, finisher treats, bespoke medals and trophies. Race headquarters are at the Crown Stirrup Pub, where post-race bacon rolls, hot drinks and a set lunch menu will be available.
Entries are open to a wide range of participants from first timers to club runners of all ages; under 11s must be accompanied by an adult entrant at all times. Transfers between entrants are permitted only once a distance has sold out, with entrants responsible for any exchange of funds. Deferrals and withdrawals will not be accepted.
