About the race

The Guided Lairig Ghru Crossing is a 32km trail running event through the historic high mountain pass in Scotland, taking participants across remote and rugged terrain. Led by experienced guides, the event includes a transfer from Aviemore to the Linn of Dee, where runners begin their journey northward through the challenging landscape, which features rocky trails and boulder fields. Suitable for experienced trail runners with a good level of fitness, the event offers a unique opportunity to explore one of the UK's most inaccessible trails.

Participants must be at least 18 years old, and the event emphasizes safety and preparation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
