Hagg Mud 50K/25K
The Hagg Mud 50K/25K is scheduled for February 13, 2027 at the C-Ramp Recreation Area of Henry Hagg Lake in Scoggins Valley Park, near Gaston, Oregon. The event is organized by ORRC and offers two distance options.
- 50K: two counterclockwise laps around Hagg Lake on single-track trails.
- 25K: one counterclockwise lap around Hagg Lake on single-track trails.
Both races begin with a loop around the C-Ramp parking area and include a short gravel out-and-back on Sain Creek Road, which contains the course's largest elevation change. The route runs largely on single-track trails around the lake and passes multiple aid stations. The 50K course passes five aid stations including the start/finish; the 25K passes two aid stations.
Race services include three well-stocked aid stations, a post-race celebration with warm food and drinks, a complimentary parking voucher, a covered bag drop area, and warming/changing tents. The event is CUPLESS: no paper cups will be provided, so runners should bring a reusable container. All finishers receive custom Hagg Mud finisher socks. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in each gender category: female, male, and non-binary.
The event acknowledges the ancestral lands of the Kalapuya, Clatskanie, and Atfalati. The race partners with the Trail Mix Fund to offer entry assistance and maintains a gender inclusion policy that accepts the registration gender selection as submitted.
