Burnsall 12k Trail Race
Burnsall 12k is part of the Due North Trail series. The route covers the first 12k of the half marathon with a diversion from Appletreewick that returns runners to the finish at Burnsall. The event is based at the Riverside Car Park field in Burnsall, BD23 6BU.
The course is way marked and includes drinks stations supplying water and juice. A post race meal such as pie or soup is provided, and participants receive Due North merchandise and goodies from race sponsors. Toilets are available at the top of the car park. Free car parking is offered for runners in the race field, while spectators are asked not to park in the field or along narrow country roads; Appletreewick and the Dales Way footpath are noted viewing points.
Runners must register at the tent in the car park to collect race numbers. Minimum age is 17. Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, a personal cup or bottle for drinks, and a mobile phone with a location app installed and the race day contact number stored. Prize giving offers awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Male, Female and Non-binary finishers and for first in V40, V50, V60 and V70+ categories.
