Dog Days of Winter Dog Jog 5K & 1 Mile Walk
This event is a trail race in Charlotte, NC organized for runners and their dogs. The program includes a competitive 5K trail race and a 1 mile walk.

Registration has different rates for pre-registration and day-of registration. The last day to pre-register for standard pricing is February 4, 2027. Race shirts and optional hoodies are guaranteed only for participants who pre-register on or before January 25, 2027.
Rules and services note that dogs must be kept on a leash and owners are expected to clean up after their pets. Race headquarters will provide dog bowls filled with water. Trails remain open to other runners, hikers, and bikers; participants should communicate when passing others. E-bikes and other powered transportation are not permitted in race events.
All participants must sign the venue assumption of risk waiver before participating. Race registration is non-refundable. The Whitewater Center may alter, reschedule, or cancel events and plans to proceed rain or shine. Parking fees apply at the venue.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K; recipients must be present at the award ceremony to receive awards. Past race results are posted for reference. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
