Bright Lights 5K & Fun Run
Bright Lights 5K & Fun Run is scheduled at the Daniel Stowe Conservancy in Belmont, North Carolina on November 25, 2026, the night before Thanksgiving. The event features a 5K and a 1 mile fun run that pass through the Gardens at Stowe holiday lights display.
Race registration includes a race bib and either a custom ornament for the 1 mile or a finisher medal for the 5K. Participants also have an entry to the Holidays at the Garden sneak peek after party. The course is multi surface and uses paved roads, natural trails, and garden pathways. The route is not stroller friendly but is possible with a running or hiking stroller. Children age 2 and under enter free; all others who want access to the holiday lights sneak peek after party must be registered in the 5K or 1 mile event.
