Brooks South XC Championships
The Brooks South XC Championships is a regional cross country meet held in Charlotte, North Carolina at 8711 Monroe Rd. The event features multiple races for high school and youth runners as well as an open race that includes masters competitors. Championship races are restricted by grade for some divisions and the Fleet Feet Championship races are limited to grades 9 to 12.
Top finishers in the Championship Race earn qualification for the Brooks XC National Championships in San Diego; the top ten boys and top ten girls advance toward that national field.
The event schedule includes races over the following distances:
- 5K
- 3K
Registration for individual races is fee based, with a standard registration fee of $45. A discounted group rate of $40 per registration is available for teams or groups of 10 or more when arranged prior to registering. Registrations must be prepaid by a single payer so that comp codes can be issued for distribution to individual registrants. Registration opens on June 6, 2026 and closes on June 21, 2026.
