About the race
Dash in the Dark Race 1 is an evening trail event on 6 November 2026 at Llandegla Forest Visitor Centre, Ruthin Road, Llandegla, Wrexham, LL11 3AA.
The route is about 6.4 km / 4 mi with approximately 229 m / 751 ft of climb. Safety information notes the course is partially marked. A safety briefing is held before the start.
Compulsory kit for all participants includes a whistle, a waterproof top, a hat, gloves and a headtorch with at least two hours of good lighting. The event is insured by the Welsh Fell Runners Association.
