Murder Mystery Run - Oswestry
Murder Mystery Run is a team navigation event held in Oswestry at 28 Cross St, Oswestry SY11 2NG, UK, organised by Adrenaline Sporting Events. Teams of two, three or four people receive seven clue locations around the town and have thirty minutes to plan a route before setting out together to collect the clues and solve the fictional crime.
The shortest possible route is around 10 km; the final distance depends on team planning and route choice. The route uses public roads, footpaths, bridleways and designated public rights of way. While some clues may require short sections of off-road running, the course is suitable for standard road running shoes; trail shoes may help if conditions are wet or muddy.
This is a self-navigation event. Teams select their own route between clues and are responsible for following the rules of the public rights of way. Participants are asked not to cross private land, climb fences, walls or gates, or take shortcuts through private property, and to respect local residents and other trail users.
Event entries and offers are listed as sold out. Participants are provided with a briefing, the locations of the clues, and a back story in advance. Finish provisions include a drink and a finisher prize, with additional overall prizes for successful teams. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
