Clarendon Marathon
The Clarendon Marathon is a charity running event held on the first Sunday in October, with the 2026 date listed as 4 October 2026. The routed course runs from Salisbury to Winchester along the ancient Clarendon Way. More than 90% of the route is off road, following country tracks and paths, and the organisers publish maps, a 3D route view and a GPX file plus an ascent and descent profile.
Distances offered include:
- Full marathon 26.2 miles
- Half marathon 13 miles
- Mini 5 miles
- Relay teams of four
Entry is described as all inclusive; buses are included where scheduled. Every participant receives a complimentary t-shirt, a medal at the finish and a copy of the Souvenir Program. The mini entry includes a bus pass to the start at Farley Mount Country Park and is described as an informal five mile run that shares the final section of the main route. Late and on-the-day bookings are permitted for an additional £10 donation to Rotary charities.
