Botanic Gardens Trail, Auckland
The event is centred at the Auckland Botanic Gardens and uses nearby Totara Regional Park and Puhinui Stream trails. Courses start and finish in the gardens and move through landscaped collections, open parkland and native bush.

Course surfaces are approximately 55% well formed gravel, 25% paved footpath and 20% grass. Elevation gain by course is listed as: short course about 53 m, mid course about 141 m, long course about 227–230 m. The short route is a circular 5 km route through garden paths and lawns. The mid and long routes extend onto off-road tracks and native bush, including sections beneath the forest canopy and along the Puhinui Forest area.
On-course support includes pitstops providing water and snacks, branded hydration stations in the event village and periodic course markings using green arrows and coloured boarder arrows that match wristband colours. Participants receive a coloured wristband at check in to indicate their course. First aid is located in the event village and will attend incidents on course if required. Event services include event photos available for purchase, same-day results online, limited venue parking and a post-event village with complimentary refreshments.
