Blue Ridge Winery Wine Run 5k
The Blue Ridge Winery Wine Run 5k takes place on Sunday, September 12, 2027 at Blue Ridge Estate Vineyard & Winery in Saylorsburg, PA. The course is a two-lap route that tours the estate and winery and passes the start/finish line multiple times. The venue sits on a hill and includes a 17,000 square foot tasting facility with a wrap-around deck overlooking the vineyards and the Pocono Mountains.
The event is chip timed and scored by J3 Timing, with results posted online at J3Timing.com. Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton t-shirt, a plastic wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, online results, and a pour of wine. Age group awards are offered for ten-year categories, with custom awards for the top three finishers in each category; awards are available only the day of the event and may be picked up at the registration table.
Virtual participation is available; packets can be picked up or shipped for an additional fee. The local charity partner is SRP Memorial, which focuses on colon cancer awareness, research, and screening efforts. Walkers are welcome but should keep single file in the vine rows to allow runners to pass on the second lap. Strollers are allowed though not recommended because of uneven ground; dogs are permitted if leashed and friendly. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
